Preparation Day
Some may not know that Jacob is Dutch. All his family still lives in The Netherlands. Soon, we will be flying there for a special celebration 🎉 . Therefore, we will not be in TJ Shack (our bronco camper). But, I would like to still bring you along our trip.
It has been 4 yrs since, I was last there. It was for their 66th anniversary. Jacob has been there mainly for personal family situations.
We will be attending, our parent’s 70th anniversary celebration, a milestone in itself.
We will be able to visit with other family members while there too. I always look forward to seeing my in laws. My heart is humble by how from day 1 of our relationship they have treated me like family. It was an instant feeling of love ❤️.
But, for now we are preparing our sleep schedule. The Netherlands is 7hrs. ahead of us. So, when we leave in the afternoon here, we will arrive in the morning there. Therefore, we have a full day ahead of us. Jet lag can get the best of us. So, in preparation we go to bed early and wake up even earlier for several days.
On travel day, will be awake at 3 am our time…YIKES 🤪 ! But, once on the main flight, we will try to sleep 😴 most of the way there. Last time, I was not as lucky due to a crying baby and a people sitting behind me talking the whole time. I pray for a better outcome this time!
