Part 10
We last ended with a bunch of tags and big spools of wire! Each tag labeled for a specific area, for example: a/c, water pump, lights, reading light, tank heaters, tv outlet, hot water heaters, 110 and 12 volt outlets all for its designated spot.

Jacob meticulously labeled each wire and ran each wire to its assigned spot. He also temporarily hung the Pioneer 12,000 BTU Mini Split for placement of the a/c tubing. We have one assigned area on the floor for the a/c line, wires and some of the water lines to be housed in. Jacob has also drawn out a map of lines for water and electricity.

The lines for the a/c are copper, so we had to be very careful not to kink them. To prevent a kink from happening, Jacob found a HVAC copper pipe bender kit on Amazon. We just know between Amazon and Home Depot we are known. Ha ha!

The a/c outside unit was attached to the front of the trailer previously. Though, we had not hooked up the lines until now. Jacob was needing a certain size of washer for the rubber feet under the unit. Thank goodness, the scrap metal that he keeps came in handy. He fabricated his own. I think, he surprised himself too from the look on his face.

We spend a lot of time walking back and forth from the camper to the shop to get tools or to look for something. Anyone ever watch the show “Tim, The Tool Man.”?. If not Heidi is the one that looks for tools and whatever else is needed. I am his “Heidi”…I do make a pretty good “Heidi” if I say so myself.
There are several times the project is a 1 man job or there is just enough space for one person. Like in the picture below, Jacob is installing the corner pieces of the bed area. So during those moments, I just stand back, observe, stay out of the way and watch.

Stay tuned!
