Day 44 skip to Day 45
There was nothing really to journal about for day 44 just a lot of driving. So lets skip to…
Day 45
We finally arrived in Wilmington, NC. My step mother Dawn and little half sister live there. My step mother and father divorced in 1995, shortly after I graduated high school. I have tried to remain in contact with her. She has been in my life, since I was 2yrs old. So, she still held a special place in my heart.
We (Jacob and I) decided to rent a Airbnb for our stay. So, once settled in, I called my little sister. She was the only one that did not know I was coming. She seemed surprised. She was going to get ready to come over.
Well, she eventually called and wanted to know what our plans were. Duh…waiting for you I thought. She had things she wanted to do and prior to coming over. So, Jacob and I decided to head downtown.
We walked around on the little river walk area. But, we were getting hungry. And waiting on others is not always been my hunger desire. So, we went to a little river side restaurant called Anne Bonny’s.
Finally, Ashley met up with us there at the restaurant. We shared our hellos. Then, sat to visit for a while. Then, my step mother Dawn called. Oops… we were supposed to go eat with her too, but later. Ashley went on and we went to the Airbnb.
After some time, my step mother Dawn came over to the Airbnb and my sister showed up. We all left to go eat. I didn’t even think of taking any more pictures at the time. But, there is more time later.
