Day 40

This morning was sunny. Yet, cold and very windy. We took a short morning stroll on the beach. I felt funny being on a beach with a sweat shirt and toboggan on. I mean, come on that is not beach attire. Well, for this one it definitely was, no doubt.

The waves were beautifully angry. They seemed to roll in from the other side of the world.

We love being outside when camping. Just enjoying the great outdoors. We tried to use TJ Shack as our wind blocker. But, nowhere we sat was successful.

Luckily, our neighbors left and we took over their wind block shrub area. But, that was short lived. Some other people informed us they were moving to that spot. So, Jacob went to scout out another area for us among the sand dunes.

We later walked down a road of crushed shells to other side of the island. It was not far. It was the bayside of the island. But, it was a very short visit. We ended up walking to a part that had a dead bird and swamp like muddiness. Gross!

The day carried on and so did the wind. We retreated into the camper. As, I had already been sand blasted. My face felt sand exfoliated. While, my hair was like I had a sand wig on. Tomorrow, the wind will not be AS BAD!
