There has not been much going on the past 4 days. So, I have not blogged about anything. I figured, I would just compile the past few days into one.
Day 26 was last Saturday. We did not do anything but just hang out at the house. My father went through old documents and cleaned them out. We are slowly going through stuff he said he wanted to get rid of. There is a lot here at his house. But, many are the memories I mentioned on day 25. While other items are things he has not used in yrs., if ever.
Day 27 Sunday, so naturally we went to church. The message is having Faith in the Valley. I’m sure many can agree when in a valley of life’s issues it can be hard to have faith. My father hands out the bulletins at church. Service was good. We planned to eat at Applebees afterwards. But, it was extremely busy. We opted for my father’s other choice O’Charley’s. Paulette joined us. A friend of mine decorates hats. Paulette ordered one. It came in just in time for Sunday service. She loved it.

Day 28 Monday
My only grandparent left is my grandma O’con she is 97 today. Wow! She’s been through so much in her life. Yet, continues to be strong.

My dad has an old 1974 Honda CB360 motorcycle. This motorcycle has been sitting in the basement of my grandparents house for over 30+ yrs. Jacob asked my dad “Hey you want to sell me that motorcycle?” My father looked Jacob straight in the face with no expression; he replied “No!” Jacob face was one of shock. It was somewhat hilarious but, I wasn’t sure of the seriousness. Shortly, after my father stated “I will give it to you!” Jacob quickly replied “Ok!” And began to research parts to restore it. It will be interesting to see it run again. I know my father will be happy. We better get that title in hand. Jacob may fix it and my father will want to keep it. Ha ha.

My father had taken my nephew to school. He had to watch him for a bit until my brother got off work. So, I went with my father to my late grandparents house (where my brother lives). I played with my toothless nephew for a bit until it was bedtime.
Day 29 Tuesday
Jacob made an appointment with Discount Tire to have the tires on TJ Shack rotated. So, we headed to Fort Oglethorpe. Later, we got brunch at a Mexican restaurant called “Corazon de Mexico”. It was good. That was the highlight of our day. lol

I made a new bracelet and earring set for my dad’s “lady friend”. But, will also have it available in the store. So, check out the Shop.

Day 30 Wednesday
Now, we are today. My father had some doctor’s appointments. I specially wanted to go to the morning one. It was with his cardiologist. He got a “clear bill of health”. Though, he is still having other problems that will need to be addressed. Afterwards, we came home and had breakfast. Then went to my late grandparents/brothers house to clean up some wood piles. So, my father and brothers cut wood while Jacob and I stacked it. Later, Jacob took over. I wanted to cut some wood. But, they would not let me. We came back to the house. Jacob cooked dinner and I steam cleaned the carpet.

Now we are all caught up for the last couple of days. I would like to ask for some prayers for my family. We are dealing mentally and emotionally with a personal family issue.
