Day 20
Sometimes, I just need to put the camera down and not worry about having pictures for my blog. Though, I know it makes it more exciting to read. Also, to see what we are doing and hear about our adventures. There are days that the adventures are just spending quality time.
Today, was one of those day. We just drove around the town of LaFayette, GA. where my dad lives. We went to the grocery store and few other places. I actually lived here from 10th-12th grade. It was some hard years for me. I used to say “if I could have the some Georgia mountains and trees, live closer to my dad but not in the deeper south. I would love it.” Some of you might understand.
We drove by my old high school. My dad asked if I wanted to take a picture of it. I didn’t want to. I don’t have many fond memories. I laugh because, I heard my class of 1995 was having a 30 yrs reunion this September. I spoke with my cousin from the same class year. He asked if I was going. I bluntly said “No one liked me then for parts of my ethnicity. I didn’t need them in my life then and I especially don’t now!” He got my point. But, I did say it with a smile on my face. Ha ha.
We were just hanging out at my dad’s. Everyone was doing their own thing. My dad was watching tv in between napping. Jacob was watching videos and napping. So, I decided to make some jewelry. I hadn’t made anything while we been on the road so far. So, I decided to get my stuff out. My dad formal dining table made a good place for me to spread out everything. I made 3 bracelets and a pair of earrings. They’re now in the Shop.

After, I was done. I cooked dinner. It was cabbage with onions and smoked sausage with green peas on the side. Afterwards, we showed my dad this blog website. He had not seen it nor the Shop. So, now he has access to reading it. We are still spending quality time together like many families these days do. I am writing this blog, my dad is scanning Facebook and Jacob is scanning marketplace for our next camper build. Ha, ha. Well, we have talked about. He just has the find the “perfect” utility vehicle.
