Day 19

Today, was a very fun filled and busy day. We made plans to meet my father’s “lady friend” Paulette. I have spoken with her on the phone and heard several things about her. Funny thing is my father does not call her his girlfriend. But, he sure says things to her most don’t say to “just a friend”. Anyways, we all meet at a place called “Wanda’s” to eat breakfast. The food was good.

Paulette decided to hang out with us afterwards. So, we took her to do a few errands. Then, we all went to Hunters Museum of American Art in Tennessee. It is 3 buildings representing 100 yrs of architecture. Opening in 1952 with a beautiful view of the Tennessee River. It carries over 3000 pieces of art like paintings, drawings, sculptures and media art. It was very nice to see.

Made of iron and heavy metals to depict rain drops.

This was a cool media art. We were all in a media painting.

There were so many interesting and beautiful pieces. I took so many pictures. We eventually left and went for a sweet ice cream treat in downtown Chattanooga. It was called Mr T’s. I oddly waiting for a statue of The real Mr. T to be there with an ice cream cone in his hand. Ha, Ha.

Afterward, we dropped Paulette off. We came by the house to drop Jacob off and check on the dogs. Then, my father and I went to watch my brother Brian and my nephew Morgan test in Taekwondo for their orange belt.

This is my nephew and brother kneeling away from their instructors to untie their belt. We were told they cannot face a black belt when untying their new belts. It was a nice day.

  1. The artworks look fascinating! I love the fluidity of some and the defined silhouettes of others. 🙂

    1. Yes it is. Thank you for reading. What one of us sees others may not.
