Day 14
Today, our plans were to take our dogs and Traceys dogs to the beach. There is a beach called Mexico beach that is dog friendly. But, after looking at the forecast. Guess, what more rain was coming. We just can’t seem to get away from it. We opted against the idea of wet dog smells and sandy paws.
So, what was the next best thing to do? Go eat of course. We researched a little Mexican restaurant called Mi Casita Jalisco so off to eat we all went. It was not raining just yet. But, it was chilly out. Breakfast was good.

After breakfast, we went by Tracey’s house briefly. Where I got to see my furry friend Stella. She is just the sweetest!
Tracey’s drove us around showing us various areas of Panama City. We stopped at the Panama City Marina. There they had a memorial to the victims of 9/11. Each bench had the various flights that were held hostage and crashed. I am always moved emotionally when I see something related to that horrible day.

Though, the storms were brewing in the distance the beach was still beautiful. The water was blue and the sand was white. Though, in the picture it does not look like it; due to it being wet of course.

We took at short walk along the shoreline. Suddenly, spotting this house that was lean totally on the one beside it. It was reminiscent of damage from a previous hurricane. I played with the sand. While Tracey tried to push the leaning house back over. Ha, ha.

Leaving there we drove around more. No destination in mind. It had started to sprinkle here and there some. We drove out to another long pier. I played back seat driver. Just kidding, I did not know where we going at all. I honestly don’t think neither of us did. We just were trying to find something to do.

Eventually, the cloudiness of the day was making us all tired. So, Tracey dropped us off with plans to meet for dinner much later.
We (Jacob and I) relaxed at the Airbnb for the rest of the afternoon. Then, met up with Tracey at a place called Crafty Crab. It was very messy but very good! It had been a long time since I had crab. Jacob and I ordered the “Lovers Boil”. So fitting for us right? I tied up my bib and dug in.

We were all so full afterwards. I really think, I will fast until dinner time tomorrow. More adventures await so until then….Oh quick update. The knee is doing good. I still am wearing my brace. Though, it’s annoying. But, no pain and I have started some physical therapy exercises that we researched online.
