Day 12
I was washing up for the evening and told Jacob “I need to do my blog!” He laughed saying “what are you going to blog about? We didn’t do anything today.” I have a busy mind and can find something to blog about.
But, he is right we did not do much today. The wind did decrease some but it was still cold out. We took a walk to the Ferry area. We might take a ride on it tomorrow. We also walked around the campground more. We decided it looked like a disorganized KOA. It is a city campground but goodness. There are RVs and trailers parked super close to each other and just every direction. But, I will say the bathroom and laundry facilities are very clean. That is a bonus! They did put us in the tent area which is less crowded.

We are nestled in the back of the campground. There is a bird sanctuary behind us but it’s closed. They said they are conducting a ‘controlled fire’. I just wonder where the birds go?

Later, on Jacob made some homemade meatballs for our split pea soup. I told Jacob, “ I don’t like that kind of soup”. Truth, but told I have never tried it. The name of it just sounds gross. But, I tried it with the meatballs in it. It was good and I liked it.

After lunch we just did our own thing. Jacob went to the bedroom and watch videos. I stayed in the living room watch a video by “Beadaholique”. They teach new techniques on jewelry making. I have not made anything while being on the road. But, I do still have my shop and can make some custom orders. So take a look at Shop. My beads are calling me so I do need to make some new stuff soon!

The weekend has come and the tent area is getting some traffic. Jacob laughs at me because I am being a “nosey neighbor”. But, hey we have to be aware of our surroundings right? Plus, yes I am being nosey. I want to see other peoples camp set up without having to get out in the cold.

Tomorrow we leave. We will be going to Panama City. I explained our plans in the post on Day 11.
