Day 8
We did not go anywhere today. Yesterday’s event called for some resting of my knee. It is stiff and a little swollen still. I am able to walk and put pressure. I just cannot straighten it out completely while standing. It due to the swelling and will just take time. But I refuse to let it get me down or stop me from enjoying our time out. But, no pain so I am happy about that.
I made us breakfast this morning, sausage and egg biscuits. We bought a small 2qt air flyer prior to this trip. It was the first time, I made biscuits in it. It works well but it does not have a temperature control on it. It only has a timer. So, if something calls for it to be cooked for 8 minutes it can be burnt some due to the amount of heat. But, nope…I did not burnt the biscuits.

Jacob had to work remotely several times today. I am happy he is able to do that while we take our trips. He had a great assistant (Jaxon) helping him.

While, Jacob worked some. I played with the boys. They really enjoy chasing their ball. But, have not mastered bringing it back. One day, they will catch onto it. Ha, ha! I can only get Dean (on right) to take a good picture by holding the ball up to keep his attention.

They were a bit tired after playing. So, we all just relaxed the rest of the evening.
Tomorrow, we leave to Dauphin Island Campground in Alabama (yes that is how it’s spelled) for a few days. It was recommended by someone on one of the facebook groups we are in. Weather is predicting to have 35 mile per hr winds and temps low of 31. The temperature is not the problem for us. We have stayed in colder. But, the winds are concerning for us. We will just have to see how things are before we completely setup. The weather will determine how long we will stay there. We just have not had the best of weather luck. But, then the whole country has had worse.
