Day 2
Well, it has not been the most exciting day. Why, you ask? It has been raining ALL day. We have just been hanging out in The Shack. We’ve taken turns napping, looking at social media, watch shows and I have read.
There were moments where the rain was just a drizzle. So, we threw on our pouches and took the boys “Jaxon and Dean” for a walk and potty outing.
Then, I noticed a sign… yes another one! This one says “Caution Alligators, Do not feed or approach”. REALLY!!! First, the kids can’t ride in the back of trucks. Now, I can’t feed the alligators. This place takes all the fun away. Ha, ha!
Later, on we went for another walk. We made our way to the activity center here. It was a nice building with a view of Lake Livingston. The water was so calm. Even with the rain the lake is pretty. But, I was looking for those alligators as we took a walk on a path around it.
The rain started coming down more. So, we hung out around the activity center for a bit. Luckily this time we brought our umbrellas. We headed back to The Shack once again and just relaxed some more. There is nothing we could really do. But, we always have fun no matter what and make the best memories together. We will see that tomorrow brings.
