Day 73:

I have to be honest. My heart is just not into blogging today. I again received some bad news. Plus, there was not much to talk about.

We headed out early from our Old Route 66 Clint Eastwood motel. We actually slept pretty decent.

The morning the road was quiet. As we drove there was a mountain in the distance with a cloud in front of it. It looked like the clouds were holding it up. It was very pretty.

The terrain was changing. Gone was the pine trees and the big red clay mountains submerged.

After a while, we were in New Mexico. We’ve always like this state and its scenery since the first time we visited.

Jacob found a motel for us to stay at … idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ how he finds these places in Santa Rosa, NM. Lol… another Route 66 stop. I picked up a magazine at the visitor center. There was a restaurant listed in the magazine by the name of Joseph’s Bar and Grill. We decided to try it out. Indulging in what we thought 💭 were appropriate beverages “Happy Camper” IPAs.

Now, back at the motel. It’s coffee ☕️ time. Tomorrow, we will be home 🏠! We both have some indifferent feelings about it. But, it’s usually for us when we’ve been gone this long and enjoying life on the road.
