Day 56:
You can give someone food. But, not expect them to eat. Once, you give something away it’s theirs to do with what they wish. It no longer belongs to you! Proverbs 22:9: “The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor”.
Today, Tony “the campground recycler” from yesterday came by again to dig in the trash for whatever his heart 🩶desired. So, I went up to him:
Me: Tony are you hungry?
Tony: Yes, very!
Me: I have some bananas 🍌 and apples 🍎. Do you want them?
Tony : Yes , please!
So, I proceed to the camper. I get the fruits and hand them to him. He immediately puts them in the trash can. I thought he was gather stuff from one trash to the other. Didn’t think anything about it. I also gave him another trash bag since his was torn. He began to walk off. But, never took the bananas 🍌 and apples 🍎. It’s ok!! I did what my heart ❤️ felt was right.
We checked out of the campground for the day. We had other plans to stay at a hotel and pamper ourselves some. Plus, we needed to wash clothes. Yes, we could have just went to laundry mat. But, we wanted to break it up some.
Upon leaving the campground, I again noticed more horses. But, these were not mustangs. Still, beautiful to see! Also, saw some sheep 🐑. I’ve never seen brown sheep! Isn’t the saying “I’m the black sheep of the family”? But what’s the saying for brown sheep? Ha ha.🤣 😆
We did a few errands before coming to the hotel. We took a phone case back to Walmart Jacob bought. But, one important thing we had to go find our coffee! Cafe Bustelo… we are very spoiled to it! We will go to several stores to find it.
Target was the lucky one! But, they had something I could not resist! A gift set of a coffee bustelo cup with some individual packets of coffee! It was a must to buy. No, I don’t need it… but I wanted it! I got back to TJ where Jacob was waiting. I showed him my prize possession! He said “You only got 1?” Of course not… I got him and I both one! Now, we have to figure out who’s is who’s!!! Lol 😆
We checked into the hotel early & got settled. I did 3 freaking loads of laundry 🧺 🧺🧺😮😮😬😬! Then, we went to happy hour with the hotel. They offered free beverages 🍻🍷and some food. We just enjoyed being together and discussing various topics.
We decided to stay at the hotel again tomorrow night. As, we continue to prepare for the big event we will be attending! Let’s just say… we will probably be the only one like us there! The Bronco Camper!
Let’s see what tomorrow brings besides a new day! Each new day brings new things, new beginnings, new thoughts and new strengths.
