Day 38:
Are you bored yet with reading these blogs?
We really did not do much today. Our customary morning coffee ☕️ and breakfast consisting of a boiled egg 🥚 and bacon 🥓. Everything is better with bacon 🥓. Right?
I think 🤔 today Jacob and I had our minds on food. This morning, we took a walk down the canyon area below the site. The canyon grounds had areas of curled milk chocolate colored clay/dirt. It reminded us of Flokken. Which is a curved chocolate sandwich topping used in the Netherlands. We eat it when, we visit Jacob’s parents. It’s so good. But unfortunately, this was not it.
The boys enjoyed running and exploring. It was sensory overload for them. As, we gazed the sculpted rocks.
Once back from the walk we really just chilled the rest of the day. Jacob did check the fluids on TJ and greased the bearings on the trailer. As, I read my book 📖. I have 5 days left. It’s been great reading it.
I like to bore Jacob with watching my reality shows. This time it is, The Golden Bachelorette. At home, usually my mom Marie, Jacob and I will have date night. Where my mom will typically make dinner and we watch Bachelor, Bachelorette or now The Golden Bachelorette. Naturally, since I’m not home, I texted my mom to make sure she was watching it
I really don’t have much to blog about tonight. So, I hope you all sleep well 😴!
