Day 27:
Well folks it’s been another interesting day.
Jacob and I started our morning with walk to the gas station down the road from the Cadillac Ranch campground. We went to see if they had gear oil for the leak. They did not have it 😒. So, what did we do…. We walked back duh 🙄!

Once we returned, Jacob took a look at the leak more and measured the amount of oil we had left. We met up with our family again. We had a little Dutch breakfast. The shortly afterwards it was time to bid farewell. My brother-in-law has schedule, and he does not sway from it. Plus, we need to look for mechanic shop for the leak.

But before we left the area. I wanted to visit the Bluff Fort Historic Site. I’ve attached a view of many pics I took. A bit is history about the fort is… In April 1880, 150 pioneers arrived here (at the fort) concluding a six month seemingly impossible journey during which they establish, they were road across the most impossible, yet breathtaking, beautiful terrain, these dedicated pioneer women and men and children accomplish the seamlessly, impossible journey, six-month trial of their faith, devotion, and character. It was a nice place to visit!

At the conclusion of our visit it was time for business. We drove to Blanding, Utah. That was the location of the nearest mechanic shop. After, speaking to the front desk personal. We made an appointment for Wednesday to have the axel seal leak repaired. We already bought the parts needed a the Napa auto parts store.
There is a nice campground directly across the road from the shop. So, we are currently staying here. Since, we have the parts we might get the Bronco fixed tomorrow. But we have to wait and see. Plus, we ordered parts for the awning. So, we are pending their arrival. We thought it was hilarious that we are parked by this 42ft Rv. And to think 🤔, that was almost us! You just have to know the story!

Jacob and I were getting the shack set up. Suddenly, someone (Ed Amato) we met at a Truck camper rally yrs ago spotted us. He came by to say “hi.” Later, coming back with his wife and friends. It was nice to see him again. We stay in touch via Facebook. I should have snapped a photo but didn’t think of it.
The skies were stormy from a distance. But the clouds ☁️ look magnificent against the blue/gray skies and field of yellow flowering bushes. The weather made everyone sleepy. Jacob & the boys took at nap 💤 while I did my reading 📖.

After a bit, everyone was ready to get up. So, we walked the dogs around the campground. We had dinner 🍽️ and our evening coffee ☕️. Enjoying the ever changing sky’s. I hope you enjoy the video I’ve attached!
The story continues… tomorrow! Good night 🌙💤!
