Day 20

Today, was a pretty low-key day! The weather was beautiful. But the flies 🪰 were ridiculous! Of course, it was my morning teatime along with daily reading 📖. I love how Jacob asks me about what I read. And we discuss our thoughts about it. We have some the best open conversations with each other! I absolutely adore it.

Jacob made breakfast 🍳 🥚🥓. As, I took advantage of some cuddled with Dean. We ate then it was cleanup time. I washed dishes 🍽️🍴🥄🥣 and he dried!!! Teamwork makes the camping dream work!

We later went searching 🧐 for wood 🪵. We needed it for the grill tonight! We actually found a lot of it. Also, Jacob did a project by adding a picture we took while in Canada onto our camper door. I think 🤔 it looks 👀 nice!

There is a nice creek down from our camper. We can hear it but not see it. So, we decided to hike to it-576 ft not bad or 6912 steps according to my step meter. 🙄 There a tiny log bridge we had to go over. It was like 4-5 steps, but I felt like it was the London bridge I was walking across! I’m scared 😳 of heights. We sat there for a while on a couple of rocks until our butts got numb. Simply enjoyed the sounds and sights of nature.

The walk caused us to work up a hunger. We cooked chicken breast on the grill with broccoli 🥦. Hope we don’t get gassy! Lol… 😂

Now of course you should know if you’re reading 📖 this; It’s time for bed. So therefore, good night 🌙💤 and many blessings!! Tomorrow, we move to another camp close to the Black Canyon of Gunnison National Park!
