Day 8:
Today, was meet with an early start. As, we joined Irene for breakfast. I helped prepare the bacon 🥓 and eggs 🍳. While Irene prepared coffee☕️, juice, grapes 🍇 and sweet bread! We chatted more before once again departing ways. There was a sense of peacefulness with our morning visit for me. Not because of fact that we had been there before. But something more personal. We bid farewell until next time.

We also stopped at Jacob’s “favorite place” WALMART 😬! We had a brief scare as Jacob lost his wallet! Yikes 😳, it was found! Thank you to the honest person for turning it in! As, we headed out of town we stop at a local Farmer Market. We purchased a few things and admired the beautiful flower bed.

Our drive was nice met with rolling hills and mountains. We see storm clouds forming ahead. We found the location of our next spot. Watching the Colorado rains slowly making its way towards us. This place is breathtaking…it just keeps getting better. Eventually, steady sprinkles of rain met up with us.

As we sheltered in, we enjoyed our nightly coffee as I read another chapter of my book to Jacob. It feels good to share our thoughts about that the chapter said. As, I write this it brings me back to James (Irene’s late husband). It’s just been a little bit over a year. since his passing. There’s a couple of sentences that say, “Your earthly body is a “tent.” Our body here on earth is a tent. God will have a house in heaven for us to live in when this tent is torn down. It’s a home he himself has made, which will last forever.” James, I hope you’re enjoying your heavenly house!
