Day 6:
Today, was just about absorbing anything that God had in store. Boy, did he have some heavy stuff. But I know it’s in his hands.
I made the boys a gourmet breakfast of dog food. Oddly, our little one Dean will not eat without his ball by him. We have to actually throw it a few times. He will pick it up, put it by his bowl and then eat. He’s a silly 🤪 one! The boys ate as we enjoyed our breakfast and coffee.

I like to take pics of flowers and plants. I look up their actual names and read about them. I took a pic of a dandelion knowing that was what we call it. But, to know it was called a “Common Dandelion”. Really? God made it. How can it be just a common dandelion? Everything, God made is special and beautiful not just common!

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time.
I read chapter 2 out of my book “The purpose driven life”. Wow, it was some heavy stuff. I will post the poem. We all made in Gods image. Exactly, how he wanted and planned. We are loved by him more than we can comprehend! It just a matter of believing. I know several people do not and that is fine. Everyone is entitled to their own choices. I will not condemn anyone or think differently of them.
Tomorrow, we leave this beautiful spot. We will go to La Junta, CO. to see a dear lady, Irene. We met her at the same Texas Truck Camper Rally. Her now late husband Jim was there too. We met them at the same event where we met Rochelle and Butch. I must fulfill a promise made to come see her if ever close enough. Thus, we shall go.
The poem:
You are who you are for a reason. You’re part of an intricate plan. You’re a precious and perfect unique design. Called God’s special woman or man. You look like you look for a reason. Our God made no mistake. He knit you together within the womb. You’re just what he wanted to make. The parents you had were the ones he chose. And no matter how you may feel. They were custom designed with God’s plan in mind. And they bear the Master’s seal. No, that trauma you faced was not easy. And God wept that it hurt you so; But it was allowed to shape your heart. So that into his likeness you’d grow. You are who you are for a reason. You’ve been formed by the Master’s rod. You are who you are, beloved. Because there is a God. – Written by Russell Kelfer
