Day 4:

Well, it’s that time again! Today, was rather startling and exciting. It was about 6 am 🕕 and I heard this rustling noise just outside our camper. But being half asleep 💤 I had to get my bearings. I then yelled “Babe, wake up there’s a bear outside !!!” Jacob was so sound asleep it took him a few seconds to realize what I said. By that time which was by matter of seconds! We faintly see the bear 🐻 running away into the woods. Yikes! We quickly accessed the situation. It was exploring bag on the back of our spare tire. I think my yelling scared it way. I can be pretty scary at times.

After, that excitement it was time for something we actually planned for, HOT AIR BALLOONS! We are thankful to the bear waking us up, so we leave on time. Eagle Nest, NM was having hot air balloon festival. Wow, it was just beautiful. There is just something exciting about watching them go up and seamlessly float through the sky. We decide to treat ourselves to breakfast at a local bakery in Angel Fire before head back to camp.

Where we relaxed for and then played a couple games of boggle. I won 3 times. We took the boys for a walk and Lady Luck was on my side. I found a change holder with whole $1.40 in it.

There are times, I see beauty in things ordinary people do not. Like a tree and its roots that reminded me of The Tree of Life. Yet, some roots are broken just like some people are. Though, we are still beautiful! A tepee makes me think about our proximity to Native American lands. I realize how sacred these lands are 😌.

Back at camp, I made us a salad 🥗 filled with delicious fruits 🍓 and other goodies. Jacob said it was so pretty he wanted to post it on his Instagram @thebroncocamper. He cracks me up! 🤣🤣

We played a game of cornhole! Jacob won this time! Now, settling in for the night with movie called “The Fanatic” with John Travolta. Hopefully, no more bear incidents happen tonight! 🥰
