Day 23
Sometimes, I wonder if I have skipped a day or maybe two. It does not seem like; we been gone 23 days to me. But I guess so. 🤔
Well, as usual we woke up obviously 🙄 Jacob had to do a little bit of work and we had breakfast. While, packing up we spotted some turkeys 🦃 wondering through looking for tasty treats.
We planned on leaving the Black Canyon today. But first ☝🏽… we drove the south rim of the canyon. It was spectacular! We discussed how in awe we are of how greatly different the mountains are. I could not believe ppl actually climbed 🧗🏻♀️this plunging canyon.
Afterwards, it was time for a walk. Stopping briefly to admire the red elderberry along the path.
Oh, and guess who popped its little head out a weasel!!! I’ve never seen one before. It actually modeled for me before popping its head back in. It was so cute.
