Day 16:
Wow 😮! What a whirl wind of a day. It’s been relaxing, emotional and irritating. I know, I sound like the ever-changing Colorado weather.
We prepared for our departure from Fourmile Mountain area. But, before we took off Nacha, Sebastian, Jacob & I agreed to go have coffee on the rock 🪨! It’s the same place, I went to read my book 📖, have my coffee ☕️, the boys played and where Nacha & I had a great peaceful conversation.

Once back at camp Sebastian helped turn the trailer so Jacob could hook it up to The Shack. Then, it was time to do our farewell goodbyes to one another! 😩. We truly had a great time with this special and beautiful couple. It was like knowing each other for a while yet still learning from each other also! We were given one sweet little remembrance gift from them. A little Eiffel Tower key chain to think of our French friends! It will hang it in The Shack. It only seems fitting.

As, we drove away for this beautiful place. I (Traci) was overwhelmed with emotions. This was just an engaging peaceful and freeing location
As we headed to our next camp. We were met with construction 🚧, detours ➡️ and traffic 🚙🚕🚗🛻🚛🏍️ delays.

We finally reached the next spot Jacob had picked from iOverlander. Just for it to be already taken. By, that’s ok. We can only hope those people are enjoying their time and nature 🌲🌱🌿. We stumbled upon a small campground with only 21 sites. It’s quiet 🤐 and very dark. While it’s not our ideal spot. We are once again nestled in the Ponderosa pines 🌲. It’s does have some attractive views. We may explore more tomorrow. Until then goodnight 💤 🌙!
